Craft You will want to read this story -- it is a great telling of the story of the brilliant, but little-known, Margaret, Queen of Scotland. Set in Medieval times. It is so interesting that I immediately reread it. And I want my name to be Margaret.

Sykes I found myself intrigued by her story and at the same time jealous of the woman she was. A woman of faith, she allowed God to work his plans in her life. In her short life she studied and learned more thanmost do in a lifetime. Her kindness to the less fortunate was amazing and her children were all great examples of her parenting skills and her fine example. It was a great short read and it held my attention. As they say "I couldn't put it down". It was fun that I know the author and could see her personality come through.

She has carefully researched her subject, then spun the facts together in a most readable fashion. History comes alive with her pen. I loved reading about Saint Margaret. She used her status as Queen for good. Indeed, her life was pope-like in her care for the poor. This excellent profile of an educated queen married to an illiterate king and the accomplishments of their collective lives would make a provocative movie -- or maybe it already has! Anyway, I enjoyed the history lesson.
